About Crystal colloidal copper.
Crystal colloidal copper is unique due to its powerful combination of specifications. Crystal colloidal copper has a concentration of 5 ppm, consisting of 100% colloidal copper particles with a particle size of 20 nanometres. Thanks to these specifications, Crystal colloidal copper has a total surface area of 0.2 m2/litre.
Our colloidal copper is the result of our mission to provide the best possible quality of colloidal copper, based on the expertise and experience we have acquired in the field of colloids over the past years. The specifications of our colloidal copper are based on this colloidal expertise and experience.
Complete transparency regarding our quality
In order to determine the quality of colloidal copper, you need to know the following 4 specifications.
Concentration in ppm (mg/l)
The concentration of Crystal colloidal copper is 5 ppm, or 5 milligrams per litre (mg/l).
Many producers would like you to believe that ppm is a good measure of the quality of colloidal copper. Often they imply that the higher the ppm, the better the quality.
This is absolutely not true.
Unless you also know what the particle size of the copper is, the ppm value alone says absolutely nothing about its quality.
Crystal colloidal copper consists of copper particles with a particle size of 20 nanometres. The particle size is what determines the effectiveness of colloidal copper. The reason for this is simple: the smaller the particle, the more particles there are per weight of copper and the more effective the product is.
Crystal colloidal copper is 100% colloidal.
Total surface area
Crystal colloidal copper with a concentration of 5 ppm has a total surface area (also referred to as particle surface area or effective surface area) of 0.2 m2/litre. The total surface area is the most important measure of the quality of colloidal copper, as it is determined by the combination of all 4 product specifications.
The greater the total surface area is, the more effective the product is.
The colour of colloidal copper
Crystal colloidal copper is a liquid with a pure light-green-yellow colour. Due to its high quality and purity, Crystal colloidal copper is a clear liquid without any cloudiness.
The colour of our colloidal copper is caused by the 100% composition of colloidal copper particles (look carefully).
Use and recommended daily dose
For daily use, we recommend taking 1 teaspoon of colloidal copper 1x to 3x per day. Crystal recommends keeping the colloidal copper under the tongue for a few minutes before swallowing it.
To obtain faster results, we recommend taking 1 teaspoon 3x to 6x per day and keeping it under the tongue for a few minutes before swallowing it.
The actual dose depends upon the individual needs of the person taking it.
Shelf life of colloidal copper
The shelf life of Crystal colloidal copper is limited, as copper is not a noble metal. For colloidal copper, we recommend a shelf life of 6 months after the battle has been opened. After the bottle is opened, air containing oxygen enters. The oxygen causes the copper particles to slowly oxidise. This is also the reason why colloidal copper can only be ordered directly from us and not in shops. We can guarantee the best possible quality only if we have control over the throughput time and shelflife of our colloidal copper.
We recommend that you order an amount that you expect to consume within 6 months or less.
For a maximum shelf life Crystal colloidal copper, we recommend that you:
• Do not drink from the bottle of colloidal copper.
• Do not return any unused colloidal copper into the bottle.
• Use the small spoon or pipette that comes with the product.
• Protect the product from freezing.
• Store colloidal copper at room temperature.
• Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight.
Quality is the key focus at Crystal. This quality is reflected not only in the specifications of the colloidal copper but also in the packaging.
It’s important to deliver quality, but it’s just as important to ensure that the product retains its quality during use.
For example, our 200 ml bottle of colloidal copper comes with a handy fliptop cap that makes it very easy to use. In addition, our 200 ml bottle of colloidal copper also comes with a small spoon and pipette.
The 1000 ml bottle of colloidal copper comes with a free refill set, consisting of a 100 ml bottle with handy fliptop cap, atomiser, small spoon, and pipette.
Contraindications for colloidal copper
We advise persons with haemochromatosis not to use colloidal copper.
Haemochromatosis is an inherited iron overload disorder that leads to elevated iron level in the body.
Are you allergic to copper? Then we advise you not to use colloidal copper.
Copper allergy is extremely rare but not unknown. If you are not sure whether you are allergic to copper, you can apply a few drops of colloidal copper to the back of your hand to check for an allergic reaction.
